About

TheOikodome” is a biblical Greek word meaning edification, building up, strengthening — and that is the heart of everything we do.

Mission Statement

The Oikodome exists to restore, bridge, and edify churches and communities by equipping them to navigate generational, cultural, and relational gaps through faith-based workshops, dialogue, and partnership.

Vision Statement

Through workshops, mentoring, community dialogue, and strategic partnerships, we help communities build unity rooted in biblical edification.

The Oikodome exists because something had to change.

We’ve seen the gaps in the Church, such as the generational gaps, cultural gaps, gender gaps, leadership gaps, relational gaps.

For years, many believers have talked about the difficulties we’ve experienced within our churches and communities, yet rarely have we seen sustainable solutions.

Instead of continuing the cycle of frustration, we sensed a calling to build something that would actually heal, bridge, and edify. Essentially, something that would strengthen the Body of Christ from the inside out. That calling became The Oikodome, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Christians grow together, lead well, and build healthier, stronger communities.
